We visit Our Ocean 2014, a U.S. State Department conference headed by John Kerry. The two-day gathering drew the participation of numerous influential advocates for the protection of the world’s oceans and marine life, resulting in $1.8 billion in pledges from government and private sources. The Secretary of State was joined at various times by TV host Katie Couric, actor Leonardo DiCaprio - whose foundation pledged $7 million - and President Barack Obama, who made a major announcement about expanded protections in the Pacific Ocean
