About flying with a cat - pleasecheck with the TSA about the latest procedures for going through security, just so you have no surprises.
When I flew with my cat (a sweetheart who turned into a Tasmanian devil whenever he went into a carrier), I offered to treat my fellow passengers (the ones seated immediately around me) to any cocktails they would like. It made the trip much more pleasant for everyone. Have a good trip-you are a fantastic grandmother!
