Virginia Public Radio’s Evin Jones shares the details behind what a wildlife expert called “one of the greatest conservation success stories that our country has had.” After that, Sam Litzinger speaks with veterinary ophthalmologist Elizabeth Adkins of The Hope Center for Advanced Veterinary Medicine about The ACVO/Merial National Service Dog Eye Exam event, which has provided free screenings to 10,000 Service Animals. Following that it’s BirdNote and a story about the historical significance and contemporary appeal of pigeons.
