Joyce Poole is the world’s foremost elephant researcher and her brother Bob Poole is a celebrated filmmaker. Together they make a formidable team of elephant conservationists. Sam Litzinger speaks with them about their new National Geographic film “War Elephants”, which is being screened as part of this year’s Environmental Film Festival. After that it’s BirdNote, which celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a focus on green birds.
