A college student wants to keep a non-traditional pet in her dorm room. Dr. Gary recommends rats and explains why they are good pets. Sassy the chinchilla lives up to her name by biting and spiting when taken out of the cage. Bodhi the cat constantly chases her tail. After that, it’s Animal House News with Steven Williams, who discusses a ban on importing and transporting some large snakes and proposed legislation to create animal abuser registries.
