Two significant occasions on the animal calendar; The Chinese Year of the Dragon commences and the observance of National Squirrel Appreciation Day. We celebrate both in a separate conversations with an author who has written a new book about the dragon myth and a naturalist who is a diehard supporter of the squirrel.
