A Gecko Has A Swollen Paw
Host Sam Litzinger talks about his experience at an emergency veterinary hospital, where he decided to put down his beagle, Ella. A young beagle is afraid of new people and inanimate objects in and around her home. The owner of a Australian Shepherd worries about his dog’s aggression after the dog bit his young nephew. A leopard gecko has a swollen front right paw and hasn’t been eating as much. After that, it’s Animal House News with Karen Munson, who discusses how a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit by PETA seeking to grant constitutional protections against slavery to a group of orcas at Sea World.

We love our leopard geckos too! Bummer about the swollen foot -- I'm no vet, but it sounds like gout. If it's only one joint, it can be treated to relieve some of the discomfort.
