Dr. Gary tells us what “scooting” is and how to stop it. Juju, a seven-year old Maine Coon, is terrified of the vet and has to have anesthesia when he goes. Disaster in Japan – The Impact on Animals

Animal House producer Tara Boyle talks with an American who has been teaching in Japan since 1993 about helping people find shelter for their pets after the triple whammy of earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster.

Then, a K-9 handler with an urban search and rescue team from Virginia tells us about heading to Japan with his border collie, Petzl, to look for survivors in some of the most devastated parts of the disaster zone.
